Former Terengganu MB Wan Mokhtar dies aged 88

KUALA TERENGGANU: Former Terengganu menteri besar Wan Mokhtar Ahmad died at 6.20am today in Kuala Lumpur due to heart complications.

The news about his death at Prince Court Medical Centre was shared by his son, Wan Abdul Hakim, on Facebook.

Wan Hakim also said that funeral prayers will be held at the Bukit Jelutong Mosque after zuhur prayers and his father’s remains will be buried at the Section 21 Muslim Cemetery in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Wan Mokhtar, 88, from Kuala Terengganu, had served as menteri besar for 25 years from 1974.
