GEORGE TOWN: Penang-based activist K Sudhagaran Stanley has been arrested by police over a Facebook post.
Lawyer RSN Rayer said Sudhagaran was arrested at his home here at 10pm last night.
“We were told that it has to do with Sudhagaran’s posting on the leaders’ mural being defaced in Shah Alam.
“He has been brought to the Bayan Baru police centralised lock-up and a remand proceeding will be held there,” he told FMT.
Sudhagaran is the northern region coordinator for Center to Combat Corruption and Cronyism.
FMT has contacted the Penang police for comment.
